LeafBlaster Pro is the contractor-installed gutter protection brand from Gutterglove Inc. We offer three patented product lines —Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh, Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh, and All-Aluminum — all backed by an industry-leading 40-year warranty. LeafBlaster Pro is distinct from our DIY retail brands (EasyOn, Atlas, Gutter Guard by Gutterglove, Raptor): it’s professionally installed by contractors and is not sold at retail or online to consumers directly.

LeafBlaster Pro is not sold at retail or online to homeowners. It’s available exclusively through contractors and professional building material distributors (QXO, ABC Supply, Lansing Building Products, SRS Distribution, etc.). The 40-year warranty is industry-leading. We can offer 40 years because of two factors: patented technology engineered for multi-decade performance, and American manufacturing at the Gutterglove facility in Tennessee that ensures quality and specifications don’t drift over time.

Yes — when you (or your contractor) register your LeafBlaster Pro product at leafblasterpro.com after installation, we’ll send you a free Gutter Brush (S+H not included). The Gutter Brush is a tool designed to help with the minimal ongoing maintenance any gutter guard needs. It’s available when you register your product directly with us. Registering also confirms the 40-year warranty is on file and streamlines any future warranty claim.

Yes. Snow melting and running down your roof can run off the side of the gutter and refreeze on the ground below when you have any gutter guard installed. Water frozen on surfaces can create slipping hazards and cause serious bodily harm.
 
CAUTION: ICICLES & ICE DAMS can form on your gutter during freezing conditions. Icicles can break and cause serious bodily harm. Properly installed, operated and maintained heating elements on your roof and gutter can melt icicles and ice dams. Use a licensed electrical contractor in good standing for installing any heating element products.

Snowmelt can drip off the edge of your gutter and potentially refreeze on the ground, creating a tripping or slipping hazard. When it’s not freezing outside and snow on your roof melting away, snow melt gradually comes down the roof and can slide across the mesh and off your gutter. If that happens and you have concerns about this, you should remove the gutter guard in those areas. This anomaly of snowmelt runoff can happen with all gutter guards.

About 99% of the time the small roof sand grit will not clog the mesh. You can have challenges with inside miters (inside gutter corners) where there is high accumulation of small debris and rainwater that congregate at the bottom of the roof valley. These areas will need to be brushed off from time to time. In the straight runs of gutter, generally speaking, when the rain drops come down, they splash the roof sand grit off. There will always be a little grit there in that front trough, but it cycles off the mesh, over the gutter and onto the ground and is replaced by other grit coming down the roof.

They have been tested and are classified in accordance with NSF Protocol P151 and NSF/ANSI 372. Yes. However, sometimes inside miters at the end of a roof valley can cause challenges for any gutter guard, causing rainwater to run over in a downpour. If that’s the case, you may want to install a perforated rainwater diverter along the edge of the roof on the inside miter. This will help break up and dissipate the rainwater over a wider area rather than at one point. Our rainwater diverter is made out of aluminum material, perforated with small round holes and attaches to the end of your roof valley just above the stainless steel micro-mesh.
 
However, the diverter will collect debris behind it, so at some point you would need to clean that out. You may be able to reach the brush up there and scrape some of it off. Cleaning behind the diverter is very infrequent. The diverter will significantly reduce the amount of brushing needed on the mesh.
 
A great way to clean off your gutter guard (or any gutter guard for that matter), is with the use of The Gutter Guard Brush. These are LeafBlaster Pro’s two patented technologies, each engineered for different applications. Z-Bend Technology is a Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh design used in our Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh and Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh lines — the right choice for many residential professional installations. RiserStep Technology is the patented all-aluminum design used in our All-Aluminum line, delivering up to 45% more water handling than competitor aluminum gutter guards.

Your contractor will recommend the right product based on your specific home, but generally: Choose SSMM for most residential homes with average tree exposure and standard rainfall. Choose Frame-Reinforced SSMM for homes with mature oaks, pines, walnuts, or hickories* within 30 feet; high-wind regions (coastal, mountain, Tornado Alley); or premium specifications. Choose All-Aluminum for heavy-rainfall regions where water capacity matters more than fine-debris filtration, or when color-matching aesthetics matter.

No. LeafBlaster Pro is contractor-installed only and is not available for direct consumer purchase. If you want to install gutter protection yourself, our DIY retail brands are designed for that: EasyOn at Costco, Atlas at Lowe’s, Gutter Guard by Gutterglove at Home Depot, or Raptor on Amazon.

Cost varies based on your selected contractor and your specific installation: home size, gutter linear footage, product line selected (SMMM, Frame-Reinforced SSMM, or All-Aluminum), accessibility, and your geographic region. A LeafBlaster Pro contractor will provide an estimate after assessing your home. As a contractor-installed premium product with a 40-year warranty, LeafBlaster Pro typically costs more than DIY gutter guards but less than full gutter replacement — and the lifecycle cost is competitive given the long warranty.

LEAFBLASTER PRO PRODUCT LINES

All LeafBlaster Pro products dramatically reduce gutter maintenance, but don’t eliminate it completely. A small amount of debris will eventually accumulate on top of any gutter guard. Most homeowners brush off accumulated debris once or twice a year using the free Gutter Brush included with product registration. Your contractor may also offer periodic maintenance as part of an ongoing service relationship.

Yes — all three LeafBlaster Pro product lines come with our industry-leading 40-year limited warranty. The 40-year warranty applies to Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh, Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh , and All-Aluminum. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects.

LeafBlaster Pro differentiates on three primary factors. Warranty: the 40-year warranty is industry-leading — significantly longer than typical retail (15-25 years) or premium professional (20-30 years) competitors. Technology: three patented Gutterglove technologies engineered for specific use cases rather than one-size-fits-all. Channel: contractor-installed only. For the homeowner who wants the longest available warranty and professional installation, LeafBlaster Pro is the choice.

Icicles can form on any gutter guard in freezing conditions, including LeafBlaster Pro. Our products are structurally strong enough to handle ice load without deforming. To minimize icicle formation, ensure your attic insulation prevents excessive heat loss to the roof (which causes ice dams), and that downspouts remain clear so meltwater can drain properly. LeafBlaster Pro itself doesn’t increase icicle formation compared to unprotected gutters.

Yes. LeafBlaster Pro’s Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh and Aluminum construction handles hail far better than plastic or thin-mesh gutter guards. The Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh line is particularly robust against hail impacts due to the continuous aluminum frame. While extreme hail can damage any roof-line component, LeafBlaster Pro is stronger for withstanding larger hail than other gutter guards. Severe hail events that damage building structures may also impact the gutter guard.

LeafBlaster Pro High Flow Inside Miter accessories help manage water flow at inside corners of complex gutter systems. Whether you need them depends on your specific installation, gutter geometry, and roof drainage patterns. Your LeafBlaster Pro contractor will assess your home and recommend inside miters where they’re appropriate.

STAINLESS STEEL MICRO-MESH

Moss can grow on any gutter guard and roof. In wet, shaded conditions — especially Pacific Northwest installations — small amounts of moss can accumulate on the surface over time. Your contractor can recommend a periodic brushing schedule, and the free Gutter Brush from registration makes this easy. There are several types and brands of moss fungicide products available at nursery and hardware stores that may help with moss control if it is an issue.

No. Our Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh blocks pollen at the surface — it accumulates on top rather than passing through. Natural rain washes most accumulated pollen off the gutter guard. In heavy pollen seasons (spring in oak, pine, or birch country)*, occasional brushing with the Gutter Brush keeps the surface clear. Pollen filtration is one of our Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh’s strongest performance characteristics.

Yes, with some customization. LeafBlaster Pro Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh is engineered for standard residential gutter sizes: 5-inch and 6-inch K-style gutters. For smaller gutters, you can bend the gutter guard in half, back under itself, so that the width fits the smaller gutter width.

Yes. Z-Bend Technology Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh is engineered to maintain filtration under heavy rainfall in standard residential applications. The mesh aperture filters fine debris while the Z-shaped channel design maximizes the open mesh surface available for water flow. For installations in extreme rainfall regions, your contractor may recommend the All-Aluminum product instead, which is engineered for higher water capacity.

Roof grit — the small ceramic particles that wash off asphalt shingles — accumulates on top of the Z-Bend mesh rather than clogging it. The micro-mesh aperture blocks the grit at the surface, and natural wind, rain, and gravity move accumulated grit off the gutter guard. The free Gutter Brush makes it easy to brush off any stubborn accumulation periodically.

Z-Bend Technology Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh handles snowmelt well. Melted snow flows through the mesh into the gutter and drains through your downspouts. Stainless steel construction resists damage from freeze-thaw cycles that compromise lesser materials over time. Cold-climate installations consistently report strong performance through multiple winter cycles.

Your LeafBlaster Pro contractor will measure your gutters during the site assessment and specify the correct kit configuration for your installation. No homeowner measurement is required — that’s part of what makes the contractor channel valuable.

LeafBlaster Pro sections come in 4-foot (48-inch) lengths, designed to be cut to length and joined by your contractor during installation. Most residential installations use multiple sections per gutter run, joined along the length of the gutter.

No, we don’t recommend painting LeafBlaster Pro. The Stainless Steel finish is the design — painting interferes with the structural integrity of the Z-Bend Technology and affects the 40-year warranty. If you want a specific color, our All-Aluminum line is available in multiple factory-applied colors (black, white, or mill finish).

Yes. Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh is UL/NSF approved for rainwater harvesting systems. The micro-mesh filters fine debris like pollen, roof grit, and insect* material that would otherwise contaminate harvested rainwater. Water filtered through LeafBlaster Pro is safe to collect for residential rainwater systems used for irrigation or non-potable household uses.

Inside corner overspill on a contractor-installed system usually means the installation may need adjustment. Contact your installing LeafBlaster Pro contractor first — they’ll diagnose whether it’s a gutter slope issue, a gutter guard alignment issue, or a downspout flow issue.

Yes. LeafBlaster Pro Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh is non-combustible and  meets Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) compliance requirements common in California, Oregon, Colorado, and other wildfire-prone regions. Stainless steel is non-combustible, and our micro-mesh designs prevent the accumulation of flammable debris (pine needles, dried leaves) in your gutter.

ALL-ALUMINUM

LeafBlaster Pro All-Aluminum gutter guards are made of extruded aluminum using patented RiserStep Technology. The design uses a stepped channel geometry — distinct from typical aluminum gutter guards — that delivers up to 45% more water capacity than competitor aluminum products. Aluminum doesn’t rust, doesn’t corrode in standard residential conditions, and is available in multiple factory-applied colors (black, white, or mill finish).

Excellent. RiserStep Technology’s patented stepped channel design delivers up to 45% more water capacity than competitor aluminum gutter guards. This is the strongest specification difference between LeafBlaster Pro All-Aluminum and competing aluminum products. For installations in heavy-rainfall regions (i.e. Pacific Northwest, Gulf Coast, Southeast), All-Aluminum is typically the right specification.

Yes. LeafBlaster Pro All-Aluminum is available in multiple factory-applied colors to match your home’s gutter, fascia, or roof aesthetic. Your contractor can show you available color options (black, white, or mill finish). Color choices are factory-applied during manufacturing — they last significantly longer than any field-applied paint would.

Snow melt itself isn’t preventable — it’s a natural process. The goal is to manage how meltwater flows through your gutter system. RiserStep Technology aluminum channels meltwater into the gutter without backing up. To minimize ice dam formation, ensure attic insulation prevents excessive heat loss (which causes uneven melting), and keep downspouts clear so meltwater can drain freely. Your contractor can assess specific cold-climate concerns at install.

Section removal should generally be handled by your LeafBlaster Pro contractor. They have the tools and experience to remove sections cleanly without damaging the surrounding gutter guard, gutter, or fascia. If you need a section removed for roof work, repair, or other reasons, contact your installing contractor first. They can handle the removal and reinstall the gutter guard properly afterward.

All-Aluminum’s rear rail is designed to attach to the fascia, while the front rail sits flush with the gutter lip. The different rail heights are part of the patented stepped channel design — they aren’t a defect or an asymmetry. The configuration is engineered specifically to provide the greater water capacity that defines RiserStep.

FRAME-REINFORCED STAINLESS STEEL MICRO-MESH

Yes. LeafBlaster Pro Frame-Reinforced Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh is non-combustible and meets Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) compliance requirements. Both the Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh and the aluminum frame are non-combustible.

Copper gutter installations are a premium specialty application. Your contractor can install on copper gutters using techniques appropriate for the softer copper material.  In a majority of the installations, the Stainless Steel Micro-Mesh doesn’t come in contact with the copper gutter because it’s installed between the front and rear mill finish extrusions.
